Ice fishing contest announcement is Monday

Jason Gadd of the Hopkins Jaycees said on Firday there will be an announcement on Monday concerning the Golden Rainbow Ice Fishing Contest in Forest Lake, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1. Gadd said Friday the event is still on as scheduled.

Gadd added, however, that because of the weather conditions, there will be a new format to the contesst. An announcement as to the format change is expected Monday.
