Fans of modeling railroads are in for a special treat this weekend. The second annual Great River Valley System Model Railroad Show is slated this Saturday and Sunday at Northland Mall, 1432 S. Lake St. (US-61 south) in Forest Lake. Model railroad hobby enthusiasts from throughout the area will display their model railroad systems during the two-day show. Show hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29 and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30. For more information about the show, call 651-433-3039. There is no admission to the show.
